Brushing Aside Tobaccco: Painting A Brighter Future

Join Clean Air OC for night of Art and Advocacy!
The World Health Organization created “World No Tobacco Day” to draw attention to the tobacco epidemic and the preventable death and disease it causes. Every year in California, 40,000 adults lose their lives from smoking— more than alcohol, AIDS, car crashes, and illegal drugs combined!
On World No Tobacco Day of Action (and Art), we will gather to honor the memories of those that have been impacted due to commercial Tobacco use, recognize the disproportionate impact of smoking on the LGBTQ community, and celebrate life through art.
Come experience our SUP Coalition’s Youth Art Exhibit, live poetry readings, an educational discussion panel, as well as a finale opportunity drawing!
We have partnered with Out Against Big Tobacco—LA, and the Los Angeles LGBTQ Chamber of Commerce to make this event span across two days and reach both OC and LA counties!

Join Clean Air OC for our first Queer Park Day!
Queer Park Days is a vibrant collaboration between the Clean Air OC Coalition and OutLoud Sports Orange County, bringing together our LGBTQ+ community for a day of environmental conservation and active fun. Join us as we gather to clean up litter and beautify a local park, followed by an exciting opportunity for sports, recreational activities, and forging meaningful connections. Let’s unite in making a positive impact on our environment while celebrating diversity, inclusivity, and the joy of being active outdoors. Together, we can create cleaner air and healthier communities for everyone!
