As of February 2025, Clean Air OC has been collecting data in both Cypress and La Palma, CA. Below is the data we have gathered in our outdoor observation, multi-unit housing observations, and public opinion poll surveys for Cypress.

It is your right to breathe in clean air. 100% of Public Opinion survey respondents have the right to breathe clean air in outdoor public spaces.
Why should you support anti-smoking legislation for cypress outdoor recreational and non-recreational spaces? 31 out of 34 Cypress outdoor spaces observed had tobacco litter present. In these 31 spaces, there were 1,475 pieces of tobacco litter present. 18 of the 34 spaces had "NO Smoking" signs observed. While 9 spaces had “Designated Smoking Area” signs observed. 94% of Public Opinion Survey respondents would vote for a Cypress City Council or Mayoral candidate who supports a smoke-free outdoor spaces policy.
